Our philosophy

This site and the artist's business is managed by himself and his wife.  It is very difficult to consider art as a business:  Selling art is like selling a little bit of your soul which goes into each painting.  Placing a price tag on a work of art is therefore a difficult task.

Nevertheless, art needs to be shared and viewed to be of any value.  Those who buy fine art have a special sensitivity that is echoed in each  painting purchased.  We understand and hope to bring something unique for those special people who care to spend in beauty.

Who We Are

You have already met Ruben Martinez Chamizo, and have browsed a brief description of his life and the nature of his work.

Celia Do Muino, his wife and best friend, is responsible for website related matters, finances and public relations.

Yes! You guessed right,  I'm the one writing these pages, so I will speak in first person from here  on in:

        Since retiring from the Public School System, I'm able to do the things I love the most, particularly those involving art.  I'm thrilled to be able to help my husband achieve his dream and what he was born to do:  To paint.

Cuban born, I have worked all my life as a teacher and actress in Miami, Florida.

I'm very happy I can do this kind of work now, and look forward to help in the endeavor. 

My husband and I will be happy to assist you in realizing your dream of becoming an art lover.
